General Pest Treatments
At Hindmarsh Pest Control, we treat every customer as an individual. Everyone’s home is different and will have unique pest problems. We don’t simply come and do a ‘pest spray’, we discuss your requirements and inspect your property, before designing a treatment that meets your needs.
If you combine a general pest treatment with your annual termite inspection you will received a 10% discount.
Pests covered in a General Pest Treatment
Common pests covered in every treatment:
- Spiders (web-spinning species)
- Cockroaches
- Ants
Additional pests are included as specified by client, with specialised treatments [link to specialised pest treatments] recommended of required.
Key areas of treatment focus:
- Building exterior and perimeter
- Fence lines
- Entry points (vents, weep holes, cracks and crevices)
- Roof voids
Generally we don’t spray indoors – normally the pests are outside trying to get it – but we will use target bait treatments for ants and cockroaches.
Our warranty:
We provide a 3 months service free period on our treatments, which means if a pest problem re-surfaces with the first 3 months after treatment, we will come around and do a remedial spot treatment for free! (But our treatments normally last longer than 3 months).

How to help prevent a pest problem…
There are a listed of home maintenance tips that can help to reduce the chances of a pest infestation:
Eliminate potential pest food sources
- Clear away dirty dishes soon after meals
- Clean kitchen, cooker and fridge regularly
- Clear up any food spillages
- Place any open food packages in sealed plastic containers
- Don’t leave pet food bowls out after meals
- Put rubbish in sealed plastic bags and place in sealed rubbish bins away from the house
Eliminate pest entry points
- Ensure doors, windows and screens are tight fitting
- Fill any holes and cracks in walls and around doors / windows
- Seal gaps around pipework
- Use insect grills in weep holes
Eliminate potential pest hiding places
- Clear back vegetation immediately surrounding the home
- Keep roof void and sub-floor clear of stored goods / boxes
